Pacific Book Publishing offer a wide variety of services such as book publishing, book cover design, ghost writing, book editing, book formatting, book video trailer, book printing, book illustration, book marketing, and author website creation as well. Subject to availability, Pacific Book Publishing encourages their customers or other supporters of Pacific Book Publishing’s mission and services to create a flourishing culture by giving them an outlet to share their experiences. Pacific Book Publishing also wants to motivate other authors connected with our services to take part in the program by introducing authors who are interested and may benefit from the services (the process known as “Referral”). In this case, the person talking about Pacific Book Publishing and referring to its services would be known as the “Referrer,” while the person receiving such an introduction and wanting to avail the services Pacific Book Publishing offers by using the unique referral link will be known as the “Referee.” Please bear in mind that the entire process of the referral, including but not limited to the referrer talking about the services Pacific Book Publishing offers and the referee’s participation, is entirely voluntary. The rules mentioned below influence your participation in the program either as a referrer or a referee. The referee, or other terms used to explain this, refers to the person or entity taking part in the program managed by Pacific Book Publishing.

PARTICIPATING IN THE REFERRAL PROGRAM IS FREE, BUT BY TAKING PART OR ENGAGING WITH THE PROGRAM IN ANY WAY, YOU ARE ENTERING INTO A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT WITH Pacific Book Publishing (THE “AGREEMENT”). THIS AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE BELOW-MENTIONED RULES. YOU ARE DISCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ADHERE TO THE RULES.

• A Referral refers to the act of the referrer sending a unique link to someone, which is provided to them by Pacific Book Publishing, which is generated by the referral widget, which redirects them to the link (the “Webpage”).
• A Referral is counted only when the referee submits the form, adding all the valid information that is required to fill the form on the webpage, and then they submit the completed form (the “Submitted Form”).
• There is no restriction to contact Pacific Book Publishing inquiring about their services, but all benefits associated with the referral program only apply to the referrers and referees.
• Submitting the complete form requires that the referees actively consent and acknowledge these rules and the privacy policy of Pacific Book Publishing, and for Pacific Book Publishing to contact them about their services.

People who are not employed with Pacific Book Publishing in any way can be eligible as a referrer for each referral instance if:

• You are over the age of 19.
• Your referral author fills the form completely and submits it using your link or through other tracking methods, subject to support by Pacific Book Publishing for a limited time period, such as a unique coupon code.
• The referral author must not have any contact with Pacific Book Publishing in the past due to the company’s marketing, such as advertisements on social media, such as Facebook, other referrals, and Google Ads. For them to be eligible to become a referrer, they must be a new author who has never been in contact with Pacific Book Publishing. It does not matter if the time of contact was before or during the time of referral.

You can become a referee if you fulfil these conditions:

• The first time you came into contact with Pacific Book Publishing was through the form that you were directed to when you interacted with the link you received from the referrer, or other tracking methods which may have been approved by Pacific Book Publishing, such as a coupon code.
• You acknowledge and agree with the fact that your age is over 19 years old and you possess the authority bind any other legal person or entity to these rules in the case that you are engaging with the program in accordance with the legal person.

Pacific Book Publishing has the right to waive the eligibility if the situation is subject to exceptional circumstances, when it is clear that a valid referral was processed, but the referee mistakenly did not use the referral webpage when submitting the form.

• For each of your referee who communicates with Pacific Book Publishing about their services, you will be eligible to choose to receive cash payment (the “Reward”) 30 days after Pacific Book Publishing receives the first payment from the referee and the company accepts and acknowledges the company as a client, in the case that the referee does not cancel the contract within the 30 day time period. They can do this or choose from the rewards offered by Pacific Book Publishing as well.
• The specific rewards you will receive as a result of an accomplished referral are subject to variance, and the amount depends on the services availed by the referee. Please bear in mind that the details pertaining to referral rewards are subject to change, with the possibility that it may occur with or without notifying you.
• Unless mentioned on the website, it is a requirement that the scope of the rewards will be dependent on the amount totalling to the services that the referee has availed from Pacific Book Publishing during the time of sing-up, keeping in mind that the registration process lasts a period of up to 180 days which begin counting down from the moment when Pacific Book Publishing receives the submitted form (the “Rewards Period”)
• The 20% discount will apply to referees on the amount of their first order pre-tax during the rewards period, taking into consideration that the referee has not availed a discount in any form (the “Credit”).
• The details regarding the credit can be found on the webpage and/or can be inquired about when contacting Pacific Book Publishing. A referrer can view information related to their services and credit at Pacific Book Publishing’s sole discretion.
• The credit cannot be merged with any other special or promotion offered by Pacific Book Publishing, and it is non-transferable. LEVELS WITHIN THE PROGRAM

• There may be instances where Pacific Book Publishing might create new levels to the Author Referral Program, with each level corresponding to specific requirements that must be met. These levels may be given unique names as well (“Levels”).
• The levels shall be further broken down, and the rules and criteria for each of them will be discussed on the website as part of the description in relation to the corresponding program.

RESTRICTIONS

• It is possible for Pacific Book Publishing to limit the credit amount provided to the referees depending on specific services, and Pacific Book Publishing is subject to excluding some services from credit eligibility in its entirety. In the case that they become excluded, the affected services will be listed on the website.
• As a referrer, you can share the unique referral link only with potential authors interested in benefitting from Pacific Book Publishing’s services. You consent to representing that your referee acts in adherence to privacy and anti-spam laws when sharing the webpage, and that you are not engaging in spam.

CONSENT TO LEAD CREATION AND CONTACTING

• Becoming a referral or a referee means that you are consenting to the fact that Pacific Book Publishing can collect and utilise your personal information according to the Privacy Policy.
• By completing and submitting the form through the referrer’s link, as a referee, you consent to:
  • Pacific Book Publishing storing, collecting and using the private information you mentioned in the form to determine whether you are qualified to avail the services of the company.
  • Pacific Book Publishing storing the referee’s information as a lead within their marketing systems.
  • The company contacting referees by phone, email or other digital means to deliver information to them about the next steps, services, and other related opportunities.
• As a referee, you acknowledge that the consent you have given to the company is not binding, and as such, you can withdraw it at any time by following the procedure to unsubscribe, or by inquiring through contacting ABL at info@pacificbookpublishing.com.au.

ALTERATIONS WITHIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The rules and other components, including but not limited to the levels, credit, or the rewards period, can be changed at any time, and the right to do so is reserved by ABL.
• If a situation occurs and as a result the program is changed or a referee’s credit is rescinded or restricted in any way, a reward or credit according to the referral shall be given out, in relation to the prescribed date on which the rewards period began.
